My poor package from Innocent World has been trapped at the post office since Saturday when I missed the postman by being gone most of the day. Argh! Life just hasn’t been kind to let me pick up my goodies any earlier than today, there’s just been to much drama. ![]()
I really don’t want to get into all that right now, let’s just get on to the pretty clothes, okay? Okay! First up is the Leila Bustier in black. Originally I really wanted to get it in bordeaux along with the matching skirt, but I talked myself out of it and opted for something that would match with so much more in my wardrobe. As for the color, since so much of my wardrobe is predominantly black, then alas black it was despite me trying to get away from it a bit. I’m not sure why I keep trying, I just keep circling right back around to black anyway in the end.
Proof that I just need more bordeaux in my life! haha

The lace on the front is just so beautiful! ![]()

I also picked up two of the Rose Cameo Head Bows, one in black and one in bordeaux. I just can’t resist a gorgeous cameo, so when these came out I knew it was hopeless to resist!

Here is a quick snap of me wearing it. I don’t own any newer Innocent World bordeaux pieces, so I was really amazed at such a gorgeous color!

I really wanted to know how Innocent World’s bordeaux matched up with Metamorphose or Baby, but I took a gamble in hoping it would match close enough.
Here in this picture I have JSKs from Metamorphose, Innocent World (from a few years back), Baby’s velveteen and red Baby.

Since the bow will of course be up on my head and there will be a blouse in between, I don’t think the match is too far off for Metamorphose. In person it matches the older Innocent World tone closely and I’m not sure about Baby’s velveteen, I want to see it in sunlight before I make a judgment call. I know it doesn’t look anything close in this photo due to flash, but it wasn’t all that bad in person.
Here are other goodies that came along in my package, the September calendar and a Lolita Bible feature mini flier. My package was a soft paper one, so I’m hoping if I set an iron on a low setting and use a pressing cloth I can get the wrinkles out of the calender where it was smashed a bit in transit.

Wow, great haul! These are all so pretty – jealous!!
