This past weekend on October 14th; Baby, the Stars Shine Bright held their much anticipated ~For pure maidens~ The magical tea party from “Hoshi no Namida Princess” and 2011 Autumn/Winter fashion show. It was held inside a beautiful ball room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chinzan-so.
Below is a video of the amazing fashion show, I highly recommend viewing it at full screen so you can see as many details as possible. :3 This show also included Alice and the Pirates showing off a collection of 20 new pieces! <3
The first black and white striped dress is really lovely, but I’m not quiet sure what is going on with the paws and tail. Is Baby getting in the Halloween spirit perhaps? I also can’t tell if the fabric is of the satin type or cotton. When the models come back down the runway for the final showing it looks to glint in the light with a sheen.
The use of gift/hat boxes as props during the early part of the show is quiet a lovely effect. Part of me really wishes those would become items available for purchase. :3 I do wish I could see the dresses better that they are pared with as they look like the print could perhaps be more soft in style?
I really wish I could have seen more of the “Blyth Doll dress”, but every time she came on stage the film was cut (except on the final walk). ;_; I’m hoping photo’s of this will start to show up soon showing other dress cuts and arrangements as the print looks to be just gorgeous!
My favorite of all the garments shown though has to be the all black Alice & the Pirates OP. It is the one show right before Intetsu in the final walk through. I’m starting to come to the decision that I can’t own too many black dresses even though I keep trying to escape into other colors like bordeaux, brown and navy. Those black JSKs and OPs just keep calling my name.
Did you have a favorite that you will be adding to your ‘must buy’ list?
Here are other photo’s from during the show, which includes Intetsu from AYABIE walking as a model during the show!
Here we have Akirta, Kaaya, Midori, and Misako Aoki in a group photo.
I know the highlight of the evening was of course the fashion show showcasing the latest looks, but let’s not forget about the lovely tea party potion. Shown there was a lovely display of Milky Train coordinates.
Time for more Intetsu! Such a lovely smile beneath that hat. :3
Misako in a gorgeous blue dress from Baby.
From the tea party attendees this lucky girl was nominated “The Best Dresser” by Intetsu. Oh my her dog, it’s just too adorable!
Here we have “The Best Dresser” as nominated by Aoki Misako. Is it just me, or are the both wearing the same OP, just coordinated differently?
