I know it’s been a while since I have shared here, things have just been a bit on high pace of late. I am going to be trying to get things organized more and back into the habit of sharing all of my photo adventures again. ^_^
To squish a few fun times from the past two weeks, let’s start with tea time! I stopped for afternoon tea at a new tea room I am trying out (this is my second trip) and everything was delightful. Instead of a mystery assortment of sandwiches, you actually get to pick what you receive. So this time I tried their traditional cucumber and a smoked salmon, but I also tried a new flavor of hummus with red peppers. All were extremely tasty and I can’t wait to try the other varieties on offer.

To pair with all of the lovelies I picked a full bodied Assam tea (loved this cup and pot pairing!).

Next up was a lovely variety of sweets. There was sweet cream to pair with the scones, petifores, a petite lemon bar (which is hiding behind the cream), chai short bread cookies and a macaron.

All dressed up for a trip to the art museum where I was being silly in the gift shop with this nifty fish eye ‘camera’ made from printed cardboard.
I was really tempted to buy a build it yourself camera kit but I managed to resist somehow. I did pick up a lovely new piece of silver tableware, but somehow I don’t have a photo of it. O.o I will definitely remedy this in a future post as alas it’s too dark to take a nice photo right now.

Dropped by my favorite bakery yesterday and indulged in this fantastic cherry pie! I actually snagged the last piece and since summer is coming to a close I suspect that this will indeed be the last piece for me at least until next summers cherry season.

The day was super casual as I was doing lots of tourist things with family which is in town, so since long skirts were out then a mini and tights were in!

Today I went driving along the mountain ridges along the bay, enjoying the summer day and gentle breezes. One of the stops along the way had some spectacular views!

For lunch I stopped at an Italian restaurant for this amazing salad of greens, herbs, shrimp, red onion, cucumber, summer squash, green olives and some bread all drizzled in tomato water vinaigrette. Superb!
